Highlights - Landscapes
This page contains several of my favourite landscape
photographs. Included here are a number of shots from
White Sands National Monument, an obligatory photograph from
the South Rim and more.
In terms of difficulty of the shot, I'd have to be most
satisfied with capturing just one photo of a lightning fork
- especially given that a whopping 243 shots just of that
lightning storm. 1 in 243 isn't a great ratio, and the
photograph isn't even particularly good - but I'm happy with
it all the same.
I also like the 'dreamlike' feel of the Big Bend photograph;
perhaps one of the few places I had some success with the
blue/gold filter - its hard to get it right. I also
love the photograph looking out into the trees and mountains
from Hwy-63; a really special place and unlike anything else
we encountered on the trip.
